Employee Rights

The anti-discrimination provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) prohibit four types of unlawful conduct:
  • Discrimination based on citizenship or immigration status (actual or perceived)
  • Discrimination based on national origin (actual or perceived)
  • Document abuse during Form I-9 process
  • Retaliation
